Our CEO, Rodrigo Díaz, in Vigo, analyses the future of green hydrogen

Faced with the problem of climate change, we will need…

• Technologies associated with improving efficiency in the use of energy: we must be able to do the same with fewer resources and even do more with less.
• Progress in the electrification of demand, and for this electricity to be renewable.
Progress in storage, both hydraulic and battery storage, to manage all this green energy.
• Also renewable molecules, such as biomethane, synthetic fuels and advanced biofuels for transportation. For which carbon dioxide capture and storage technologies will also be relevant. And, of course, green hydrogen.

This was explained by our CEO this afternoon in Vigo. Rodrigo Díaz has participated in the round table “New energies: green hydrogen”, in the framework of the fourth Conference of the Chambers of Commerce of the Atlantic Arc, held in Vigo. Moderated by  Carlos Botana Lagarón, president of the Port Authority of Vigo, he shared the panel with Antonio Casal Lago, territorial director of Ence in Galicia; Igor Pagazaurtundua, manager of Innovation and Technological Development of Enagás; Jose Ignacio Zudaire, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Bilbao and the Basque Hydrogen Corridor; and Laura Rivas Estévez, director of Projects of the Consorcio Zona Franca de Vigo.
