UVigo exemplifies sustainable production of H2V in Zeppelin Project

The School of Computer Engineering of the University of Vigo, with its facilities located at the Campus da Auga in Ourense, organized a conference on digital engineering to learn and discuss a current vision of the use of digital solutions in industrial fields.

Our team members Manuel Ángel López Ferreiro and Jorge Leira Castro offered to the attendees the conference “Digitalization and sustainability: research on green hydrogen production techniques”. As a real and exemplary case, they presented the Zeppelin Project, in which Reganosa and the Center for Research and Mathematical Technology of Galicia (CITMAga) are testing new technologies for the production and storage of green hydrogen in Spain. Seeking to reduce the cost of the processes while maintaining energy efficiency, the study investigates especially the use of waste and by-products.
